10 species
The cane toad first was in a group of control pests, but it soon became it's own species group. The cane toad is native to Central America. They were brought to Australia to control the cane beetle population, even though they have no evidence of these frogs killing a single bee. Many animals tried to eat the toads, but of course they have a secret poison to kill off there predators. They steal pet food from bowls left outside peoples houses. These toads, are small, but yet can protect themselves.
