Why is deforestation important to prevent?
Deforestation is important to prevent because we all need trees. Trees do help us with many different things in our lives. They give off oxygen for us. Trees are places for a lot of animals to live. Tropical rain forests give homes to 50%-90% of all organisms. Trees provide things as little as spices that we cook with to things as important as medicine we need to help the sick. Everybody already knows if we don't have any trees, we won't have paper, and now a days who doesn't use paper? Everybody uses it. If you didn't already know, trees trap carbon dioxide and other particles to help with pollution. That fact goes along with my last post about Global Warming. Also, trees are what cool and regulate the earths climate. Last, trees help prevent landslides and erosion. It helps with making the most fertile soil. So, you can say without trees we would have a lot of difficulties.
